Hello Riverdale Rays! 

Can you believe it? Tomorrow, we kick off a brand new season - full of sun, fun, and swim! Here are a few important details as we prepare for a successful kickoff:

1. Monday, May 19th - 5:00 pm-7:15 pm - We will be conducting initial evaluations for all new swimmers, along with any previous Grey, Silver, or Pups swimmers. 

• Please arrive with a bathing suit as swimmers WILL be getting into the water during the evaluation.
• Each evaluation should only last a few minutes, after which swimmers will be assigned practice groups
• Once a practice group has been assigned, parents will be notified, including practice times for the remainder of the season

2. Swimmers who were with the team last year had the opportunity to get to know and love Coach Estefany. She is now working full-time at the Hampton Aquaplex, so she was unfortunately unable to return. However, we have two amazing new coaches, both of whom were recommended by Coach Estefany. So if you were not able to do so during this weekend's event, please come prepared to meet Head Coach Anna, Asst. Coach Megan and Head Junior Coach Sloan. We are also offering volunteer Junior Coach roles to Blue Swimmers who are 14 and up and want volunteer hours and experience.

3. Please remember to use the side handicap ramp during practice, as the main door will be closed. 

4. Please make sure you see Linda Bruff tomorrow, as she will be collecting payments for pool memberships

5. There will be order forms for team swag available all week - please make sure you grab a form.

6. The team is looking for accepting sponsors! If you are interested in being a sponsor or know of potential sponsors, please let us know!
