Hello all! Here are a few important updates for this week, and tomorrow's meet.

1. Practice for Thursday, June 26th, is canceled. It has been very hot, and we want swimmers to have a morning to rest, hydrate, and eat things that fuel their bodies. 

2. Please arrive tomorrow at 4:30 pm to help set up, check in for volunteer shifts, and have swimmers get ready to be in the water for warm-ups at 5:00 pm. 

3. We cannot stress enough how important it is to protect our swimmers, especially during these hot days. They should be drinking water and eating meals that fuel them everyday, not just on swim meet days. Many swimmers are still arriving to practice without water and it's very dangerous in this heat. We had a swimmer get physically ill this morning due to the extreme temperatures.

4. While it's forecasted to be a bit cooler tomorrow evening, it will still be quite warm. Please make sure your family has water, snacks, fans if needed, cooling towels, or anything that will make the evening more comfortable for you and your child(ren).
