Hello Riverdale Families! We have had a very busy (and very hot) swim season, but we continue to be such a strong swim family. For that, I am thankful.

We still have our friendship meet this Thursday, and our final competitive meet next Thursday, July 24th, at James River Country Club. Please try to attend both meets as this gives swimmers two more times to qualify for City Meet, AND it determines whether we are 2nd or 3rd in our division. Please sign your swimmer(s) up for both meets.

Our end of season party will be Sunday, August 3rd at 5pm. During this event, we hold a parent meeting while swimmers are playing. During that time, we obtain votes for any open board seats/positions. We are currently looking for the following for the 2025-26 Swim Team Board:

• President (currently held by Tonisha Stalnaker)
• Vice President (currently open)
• Secretary (currently open)
• Member at Large (currently held by Shaun Stalnaker)

If you are interested in any of these open positions or have questions about the positions, please let us know. We look forward to electing new board members as it provides new ideas, new energy, and new success for the team!
